Wind Turbine vessel mooring system
Our customer had a requirement to safely moor there vessels to offshore wind turbines to enable safe transfer of personnel and equipment from their vessels to the turbines. We produced and tested on site a winch system with constant tension control and emergency release facility. Many vessels are now fitted with this system which also has massive fuel saving benefits when compared to traditional methods. The System Won Renewables UK Health and Safety award 2016. The Complete system consists of 2 winches. Hydraulic System, PLC Controlled electrical system. Is manufactured, tested installed and commissioned by ourselves.
Tug Vessel Towing Winches
We maintain The Towing winches on a fleet of approximately 65 Tug boats for Svitzer Marine. This involves annual inspections and testing of the hydraulic system to determine that the winches are functioning correct ally and that safety systems are operational should they be required.
Davit Systems
We regularly carry out major overhaul projects on MOD Davit systems which involve Disconnecting and removing the complete davit, hydraulic and electrical control system from the vessel to our work shop. On receipt the units are dismantled and inspected. A full refurbishment including original paint specification is undertaken followed by workshop function and load test. Once the davits are refitted to the vessel commissioning and set to work is completed on site.
Hydraulic Powered Equipment
Numerous winches and cranes are received at our works which are dismantled, inspected, repaired, reassembled, Tested installed back in place and commissioned.
